Fexingo (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates fexingo.com and the Fexingo family of 55 language-learning podcasts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the site or purchase our resources, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

2.1 Information you give us

• Account details: name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Order details: billing address and order history when you buy a resource pack. Payment card details are entered directly on Stripe's servers — we never see or store them.
• Messages: anything you send to support@fexingo.com or through a contact form.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

• Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer, and timestamps. Used for security, debugging, and understanding broad traffic patterns.
• Cookies: a minimal set required to keep you logged in, hold your cart, and measure anonymous site usage. See §5.

3. How we use your information

• To fulfil orders and deliver the digital resources you purchase.
• To operate your account, including password resets and login sessions.
• To respond to your questions, feedback, and support requests.
• To send transactional emails (order receipts, password resets). We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.
• To keep the site secure — prevent fraud, abuse, and spam.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to train AI models. We do not run ad networks on this site.

4. Who we share information with

Only the minimum service providers needed to run Fexingo:

• Stripe — processes payments. Subject to Stripe’s privacy policy.
• DreamHost — hosts fexingo.com.
• Spreaker — hosts the podcast audio you can listen to on each show page.
• Email provider — delivers transactional emails from support@fexingo.com.

We may also disclose information when legally required (subpoena, court order) or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fexingo, our users, or the public.

5. Cookies & analytics

Fexingo uses two categories of cookies:

• Essential cookies — required to keep you logged in and hold items in your cart. These cannot be disabled without breaking core features.
• Analytics cookies — anonymous counts of pages visited so we can see which resources people use most. No personal profiling.

You can clear or block cookies through your browser at any time.

6. Data retention

We keep account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time by emailing support@fexingo.com; we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to keep (for example, tax records for past purchases).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

Residents of the EU/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) are expressly covered by these rights. Email support@fexingo.com to exercise any of them — we respond within 30 days.

8. Security

All traffic to fexingo.com is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed. Payment details are handled by Stripe — we never receive or store them. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

9. Children’s privacy

Fexingo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, please email support@fexingo.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the site after a revision means you accept the updated policy.
